Clinical Psychologist. HCPC & BABCP registered. NHS-trained, and building Lumis around that clinical work.

Dr Marie-Claire Reville, Clinical Psychologist

I'm an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with extensive NHS experience across eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression and neurodevelopmental services. Earlier in my career I worked with children and young people as well as adults; in the NHS I now work with adults only. I have worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital, NHS Lothian, NHS Lanarkshire, and NHS Oxleas. That work has shaped both who I am as a clinician and how deeply I believe in people's capacity to recover.

Lumis is the structure I have built around that clinical work, a home for reaching out, supervision, and resources growing across my practice. The name carries something I believe in: that the work we do in psychology is about steady patient attention to who we are, and the research we can learn from. These quiet truths make lasting change possible.

"Not the flash of the flame — the quality of light that sustains you through the storm."

Away from the therapy room, I love to travel and find real richness in learning from different cultures and perspectives. I spent over a year living and working in Singapore, which has genuinely broadened how I understand people and the contexts that shape us. Time in nature, and with my cat, keeps me grounded. This is important to me because I know my own wellbeing is what allows me to be genuinely present for the people I work with.
